Task Force
In 1999 the Government established a joint task force with the oil and gas industry
to develop policies and practices that would secure the future of the industry
for the next 20 years. Jan Corpe was appointed Facilitator for the Skill &
Training Sub Group of the Task Force, which contained senior representatives
from Government, industry and education. Annette Brooks-Rooney formed part
of the Competitiveness Sub Group. The outcomes of this major initiative are
